Grapes! Tasty dinner and flowers! Friday's pickup was lovely and I loved Clare's order.so much I asked her to share it with us! (pictured above) Her dinner was some Beef Stew Meat Pie from Comolea Farms, "Mom's Cucumber Salad" from Bowman's Organic Produce (sweet and ready to eat!) and Gourmet Green Beans from Stevanus Farm! Check out the Glads from Lena Horst that Becca ordered in the photo above. Brenda Knechtel has a few new items including flat beans, heirloom tomatoes, tomatillos and some juicing spinach. Sadly, the spinach was damaged by the hail last week and has some holes. It still tastes great! Warner's Fruit Farm has:- Redhaven Peaches - Redhavens are the classic freestone peach for eating. A large peach with a bright sweet flavour and almost fuzzless skin over firm, creamy yellow flesh.
- Veecling Peaches - The Veecling is best for fresh eating and canning. It is a large yellow clingstone peach.
- Plums - Red 'cherry' plums, Larger red plums Blue Vanette and Valerie Plums
- Soverign Coronation Grapes!
- Clapp's Finest and French Bartlett Pears
- Sugar Pears - small and sweet!
- Early golden, Shiro & Red "Cherry" Plums
- Black Currants!
