Roasting Chickens - farm direct!
We're not offering these through Bailey's, but if you want to buy roasting chickens from Sam Bowman in Wallenstein. You can pick them up fresh at his farm on March 28th, but you need to call ahead to tell him how many you want! His number is 519-698-2960 and if you've never been to his farm before ask for directions. I hear it isn't GPS friendly.. =) The birds are $3.75/lb and about 5-6 lbs. They have been
fed organic grain, raised inside with room to move around and will be processed at Country Poultry on the 27th.
