We've been working with Torrie Warner from Beamsville since 2013 and we're looking forward to his cherries and other soft fruit again this year! This week look for: Sweet Red Cherries, (larger quantities should be available soon) Green and Blushed Gooseberries (the green ones are tart!!), White and Purple Mulberries,  Frozen Raspberries and cherries, as well as more Concord Grape Juice, Montmorency Cherry Juice and Cranberry-Grape Juice! Please let us know if you would like to order small, green immature plums or apricots (Ume) to make Umeboshi as they are available. New from Barrie's Asparagus While the local asparagus season has ended for this year, Barrie's Asparagus has created more great asparagus preserves! Try their new Asparagus  & Fire Roasted Red Pepper Dipping Sauce (a favourite for Maryrose's kids), Mango Rhubarb Chutney, Peach Rhubarb Spread and Gnocchi made with Barrie's Asparagus! Last Minute Additions: London Broils & Beef Patties are back from Comolea Farms. Perfect for your Canada Day BBQ. Don't forget to stock up for outdoor entertaining. It's salad season! Enjoy amazing lettuces and greens at the peak of their season! We have Green Nevada,  Romaine red and green, Red and green leaf and crisp lettuce, Red sierra, Esmerelda (a boston type) and  Salad mix all for you to enjoy! Get some cucumbers from Roseland Produce and tomatoes from Floralane to jazz up your salad! Make a creamy dressing with Local Dairy's Creme Fraiche or Crema La Vaquita and Apple Cider Vinegar from Filsinger's Organic or The Cider Keg This is likely the last of the Asparagus from Barrie's Asparagus! We have added more snow peas and green onions, Bowman's Organic has slicing cucumbers and quarts of pickling cucumbers Brenda Knechtel added thyme to the herbs available We have  MORE Strawberries from Floralane available! We hope to offer these everbearing strawberries until the early fall! If you want amazing baked goods from Grainharvest and Circle of Life get your bread order in Tuesday night!
