A Message from Rachael:

Thanks to all who came to our pickup on Monday! Thank you also to our incredible artisan vendors who came to the Waterloo location! There will be more vendors on the 17th in Waterloo!

What's your holiday?

Whether you are celebrating Chanukah, Solstice, Christmas or Kwanzaa you have to eat, right? And if you have an excuse to give gifts, consider some local ones including local food items. In our pantry section you can find peanuts, rainbow popcorn, chocolate, tea, coffee. Visiting? Bring a hostess gift of Hugo & Nate or Garden Party Caramels or some of the specialty cookies by Ambrosia Pastry Co.

We have your bird!

Turkeys from Snyder's Heritage Farms or Vibrant Farms, Duck from Anam Cara, Chicken from Apple Creek Farm and Snyder Heritage Farms too! All our birds are processed and frozen immediately so that you never have a bird that has been thawed for too long. We brined our bird (it's the royal 'we' here - Andrew is the cook in our house!) at Thanksgiving and it was the best yet. I'd highly recommend it!

From These Roots - December special!

Krista is extending a great special for December. We can offer From These Roots jams and preserves two for $10! You can choose two and have the difference taken at the checkout or order a set of two jars (of your choice) that you can pick when you arrive based on what is in stock!

Spud's Finest All Ontario Kettle Chips

I enjoyed a bag last night while working on this email. Likely not good for the keyboard, but what can I do about that? They are such a hit that we've decided to offer them 2 bags for $5 and if we don't have samples out on the 17th, just ask! It's a great size for sharing!

Appetizer Ideas Using Snider's Pork Sausage
