Message from Rachael:

Hasn't this week been beautiful? We've raked leaves and played street hockey and looked in awe at the frost on the lawn this morning. I still need to plant garlic. I just hate to sacrifice any of the bulbs on my counter.
The folks at Pristine Gourmet are likely going to come and sample their wonderful products on Monday. If you haven't yet tried their sauces, vinegars and oils, this is your chance! They're truly gourmet! We had their Blueberry Baco Noir Wine Vinegar on salad greens

A few suggestions while you shop:
  • Gluten Free Multigrain from Green Table Foods is soooo good!
  • Fusilli from Barrie Bros. in two flavours
  • Bread and other treats from Golden Hearth - they freeze well!
  • Flours on sale from Oak Manor
  • Pear-Apple Sauce to mix with yogurt. Mmmm!
  • More mushrooms and sauerkraut now available
  • Chocolate bars and hot chocolate from Anna Tolazzi
  • Creme fraiche for on top of everything (including baked potatoes)
  • Salad Greens - They can last 2-3 weeks in the frridge if you don't eat them first!
