If you are on vacation this week I hope you are somewhere warm! If you have internet, grab a cool drink and think local while filling your order! When you return your shopping will already be done! A friend travelled south recently and when she found she had in flight wifi she placed her Bailey's Local Foods order 30,000 feet over Texas!
I had a lovely phone call with Brenda Knechtel yesterday. I hid from the kids and we talked about the seedlings she has started, as easy way to grow a tray of greens all winter, her ideal timing for planting tomatoes and more. Here are some items you can look for from her on the order form:

- Living pea shoots and sunflower shoots in 5 x 5 inch trays. These are unlimited until Friday, then we'll have to put a maximum on to give them time to grow!

Regular Napa cabbage kimchi and pro biotic water kimchi in 500 mL jars - Jenna from TruJoy Pie Co. is making grain free, vegan pies without refined sugar you can see them at https://www.facebook.com/TRUJOYPIECO and order theme from the gluten free bakery section of our order form! My kids loved the Lemon Chiffon Cheezcake sample she shared and were drooling over the Salted Pecan Pie!
- Harrington Lane Farms has some great sales right now on their pastured pork! Look for Black Forest style hams, Smoked Pork Hocks, Smoked Pork Chops and an amazing deal on bulk boxes!
- Monforte Dairy offerings are starting to get exciting as lambing begins and fresh milk returns. Please note that due to short supply their goat milk cheese will be limited this year.
- We have many new cuts including T-Bone steaks from Anam Cara Farm. BBQ season is coming! Prices are great!
- Pfenning's Sauerkraut is back!
