An email from Rachael:

Happy Spring!

Today we raked some of the lawn, walked to gymnastics and celebrated Spring with an inaugural visit to DQ (brrr!) A great way to celebrate the equinox!

Now I've realized that I don't have anything in my shopping basket and need to order some of the staples we rely on. I know I've missed out on spinach and eggs, but I'm hoping for some spontaneous items just like many of you are!

A few changes since the last time I sent the email and some nudges too:

  • Last chance for orange carrots - We have 400 lb available from Cedar Down Farm in Neustadt - These will be the last of the organic orange carrots for a while and they should store well in your fridge!!
  • Some of the last organic apples from Apple Creek Farm too!
  • The end of last year's Amber syrup from Snyder Heritage farm is on the order form. All the rest of the varieties should be this year's new crop!
  • There is still lots of salad mix that should be available. It lasts well in the fridge so get enough for 3 weeks!
  • 100 mile organic spelt bread from Golden Hearth for the ultimate truly 100 mile bread

  • Please check our facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/baileyslocalfoods if you want updates between emails!

    See you Monday!
